To install: Click on appropriate link above for your system to download firmware image. Then upload that image from the management UI's System->Settings->Update->Install Firmware section.

- CVE-2017-14746 (Use-after-free vulnerability) - A client may use an SMB1 request to manipulate the contents of heap space.
- CVE-2017-12163 (Server memory information leak over SMB1) - Client with write access to a share can cause server memory contents to be written into a file or printer.
- Fixed a rare issue where a volume with multiple RAID groups may temporarily fail to mount after reboot.
- Fixed LACP hash type not being set properly after reboot.
- Fixed a UI timeout when adding a new tier using large SSDs that support TRIM.
- Fixed volume allocation statistics on encrypted volumes.
- Fixed SMB archive bit backup jobs.
- Added support for SMB timestamp backup jobs to/from remote systems that require SMB3 encryption.
- Fixed an issue where one network interface may be disabled until a full power cycle. (RN202/204/212/214)
- Fixed an early out-of-space error when doing ReadyCLOUD uploads on shares with quota limits.
- Fixed frequent network interface resets when using bonding and transferring files. (RN312/314/316)
- Fixed an issue where a bonded network interface may be disabled after a reboot. (RN202/204/212/214)
- Fixed an issue where File Search functionality would not return any results. (RN202/204/212/214)
- Fixed an issue where anonymous connections to guest-enabled shares may fail in ADS mode.
- Fixed an issue where ADS authentication may fail to work during the first boot after updating to 6.9.0.
- Fixed a GUI offline issue after joining ADS where the domain contained a group named "users".
- Reverted a change to rsync whole volume backup jobs that skipped hidden folders at the root of the volume.
Warnings:
- Devices updated with 6.9.1 firmware should not be downgraded to firmware versions before 6.9.0.
- ReadyNAS 102, 104, and 2120 must not be updated directly to 6.9.x from 6.3.x or older firmware. They must first be updated to either 6.2.5 or 6.3.5 then to 6.5.2 and then onto 6.9.x.
- ReadyNAS 202, 204, 212 and 212 must not be updated directly to 6.9.x from 6.3.x. They must first be updated to 6.3.5 then 6.5.2 and then onto 6.9.x.
